A30 in Devon shut after serious road traffic collision near Honiton

Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious collision on the A30 near to Rawridge, Honiton.

 

Police were called at about 11.30am this morning to the RTC which involved a lorry and a car.

 

Emergency services are at the scene dealing with the incident. There are no details of injuries at this time.

The A30 is closed in both directions between the A35 Monkton Road junction in Honiton and the A303 junction in Upottery, because of the accident and a spillage on the road. A diversion is in operation - Westbound traffic may follow the Hollow triangle diversion symbol via Stockland Hill. Eastbound traffic may follow the Hollow circle diversion symbol via Stockland Hill.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
