ORGANISERS of the 2013 Branscombe Art exhibition are inviting local artists to apply for their entry forms.

The event will be held over the four days of Easter, from March 28 to April 1, at Branscombe Village Hall.

A spokesman said: "The event has proved to be both highly successful and popular, not only as a means for local artists to exhibit and sell their work, but also to raise money for local charities."

The Branscombe Art exhibition has built a reputation as a showcase for works of art at affordable prices. It is anticipated that more than 100 artists will exhibit between 300 and 400 paintings and drawings, all of which are for sale.

Individual artists may exhibit as many works as they wish for only £8 hanging fee. A fifth of all sales is donated to charity.

Entry forms are available from Graham and Hilary Walford-Howell on 01297 680273.
