Attacker breaks jaw of victim with punch in Fore Street, Exeter

The attack happened at about 2.45am on Sunday(9) and police are appealing for help in tracking down the attacker

POLICE have issued this picture of a man they want to speak to after a vicious attack in Exeter's Fore Street.

The victim, a man in his early 30s, was left with a broken jaw as a result of the punch in the attack near the Walkabout pub.

The attack happened at about 2.45am on Sunday November 11th and police are appealing for help in tracking down the attacker.

DC Moira Hamilton, who is leading the investigation said: "The man just walked up to the victim and punched him in the face. There appears to have been no apparent reason at all. It was completely unprovoked. "
