Exeter City’s game against Bristol Rovers has been postponed due to safety concerns. The West Country derby been postponed due to safety concerns around the stadium.
Bristol Rovers announced the news on their website:
‘Having taken into account the weather forecast for the next 24-hours, which includes more snow and freezing temperatures over night, the club has taken an early decision to remove any uncertainty.
The decision has been fully supported by the local police.
The Memorial Stadium and the surrounding areas are currently covered by a couple of inches of snow, which is not forecast to clear overnight.’
The date for the rearranged fixture will be announced in due course, once it has been agreed by both clubs and the Football League.
