STAFF at the Basepoint business centre in Exeter donated £1,070 to local charity Balloons after match-funding the proceeds of a grand draw.
Agnes Wojnicka, assistant manager at Basepoint Exeter, presented the cheque to Jenny Pheby, fundraising and development manager at Balloons, and Deborah Butler, the charity's family support co-ordinator and trainer.
Agnes said: "Balloons is Basepoint Exeter's chosen charity, and we were thrilled to surprise them with this cheque at our recent coffee morning. Balloons provide pre and post-bereavement support to children and young people in the Devon area, and we hope this donation enables them to continue their amazing work."
Jenny said: "Basepoint Exeter has been so supportive of Balloons over the past couple of years, and we are very grateful for their continued help and generosity."
Basepoint Business Centres is owned by the ACT Foundation, a grant-making charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need.
