The iconic Coca-Cola Christmas truck is coming to Exeter again this year, it has been announced.

The soft drinks giant’s promotional tour drew huge crowds when it rolled into the city last year.

Amid a winter wonderland complete with snow and Christmas trees, visitors were invited to have their pictures taken next to the illuminated truck. Festive helpers were on hand to serve chilled Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero.

The Christmas truck – which has gained a cult following thanks to the beverage company’s popular Yuletide advertising campaigns – will be back in Bedford Street from 10am to 6pm on Sunday, December 15.

In the interests of tackling obesity - which is rife in Exeter - this advertising stunt should be banned from the city... Coca Cola is a very unhealthy drink.
