Christmas Day swim at Exmouth seafront on Tuesday, December 25, at 11am. Thousands of people will make the plunge and go for a swim in the sea near the clock tower.

Boxing Day walk in the sea at Teignmouth seafront on Wednesday, December 26. Watch or join in with more than 200 revellers who will run into the sea. Boxing Day three-legged annual fancy dress race in Shaldon on Wednesday, December 26. Dress up for some festive fun, with registration at 10.30am and judging from 11.30am. The race starts at noon and follows a route around Shaldon's pubs for a "pit-stop" at each. The event is open to all the family with a small charge for each runner over 16, free for 16's and under.

Exeter City FC charity Santa Dash in the city centre on Saturday, December 29. Prior to the Exeter City home game against Barnet, watch the Santa dash set off from the Guildhall in Exeter High Street at 1pm and finishing at St James Park at 1.15pm.
