SING for the Starving has announced it will be a holding a concert in Exeter in aid of Shelterbox.
It takes place at Sidwell Street Methodist Church on September 26, at 7.30pm.
A spokesman said: "This is our 20th year, having started in 1992, and in that time we have organised 12 concerts, raising more than £16,000 for Christian Aid, Oxfam and latterly Shelterbox."
Shelterbox responds instantly to disasters all around the world, delivering aid as quickly as possible to the people who need it most. It is currently assisting in Russia and Uganda.
It costs £590 to pay for a box containing all that a family needs to survive – tent, tools, blankets, cooking utensils and water purification.
Practices for the concert have started at Sidwell Street Methodist Church.
