The High Court has delayed a decision on whether a mother can prevent

her seven-year-old son from receiving radiotherapy on a brain tumour.

The judge said there was "no advantage in delivering a decision today".

Sally Roberts has claimed that the treatment could do long-term harm to her son Neon, but doctors say he could die within months without it.

A hearing date has been set for December 18.

A brief police hunt was launched after the pair went missing from an address in Tiverton where they had been staying.
