THE heaviest and largest bag of the week was caught by Dawlish angler Bernard Courtney.
He landed a dozen fish for a 225lbs-bag from the right-hand bank, with his best tipping the scales at 21lbs.
Tiverton's Dan Coffey caught the heaviest fish of the week when he banked a common carp weighing 23lbs 6oz.
Exeter's Mark Downing had eight commons topped by one weighing 21lbs 4oz accompanied by a green tench.
On another session he landed three common carp to 19lbs 4oz, and had seven fish with a best of 20lbs 10oz from a third trip.
James Lake landed a common carp tipping the scales at 17lbs 6oz and Tiverton angler Wayne Richards bagged seven carp to 16lbs 8oz and a green tench weighing 3lbs 8oz.
Exeter angler Barry Weston fished to mid-water depths to land four commons along with a 3.5lbs green tench.
Andy Hood caught a mirror carp scaling 14lbs 12oz with a combination of trout pellet and boillie, while Axminster angler Steve Wakeley took a solitary common carp which weighed in excess of 18lbs.
Harry and Keith Collins fished maggot and tempted four commons to 12lbs between them. Farren White caught a 14lbs common carp.
The heaviest fish the previous week was banked by Lapford's Richard Tierney, who caught a 25lbs 8oz common specimen.
He used his usual style on the surface using dog biscuit to take a 10-fish all-common bag – the largest for the week.
Exeter angler Barry Weston reported catching seven double-figure commons, most of which were mid-double size, with his best scaling 20lbs.
Exeter's Ben Westwood tempted two good specimens scaling 20lbs and 15lbs fishing on the far bank. Tiverton's Andy Shute fished the left bank and had five common carp, including four doubles with a best of 18lbs 8oz.
Dawlish angler Bernard Courtney banked three common carp, including two doubles up to 14lbs 5oz, by the aerator on the right bank.
Cullompton's Chris Charlwood banked four fish with a pair of commons up to 16lbs 3oz along with two tench, with a best of 4lbs 8oz.
Tony Kingsley of Newton Abbot fished on the boathouse bank and tempted two commons scaling 11lbs 7oz and 9lbs 11oz.
Zac Newton took the first prize at Goodiford Mill as he landed 190lbs using a long pole shallow with 8mm pellets.
The runner-up was Steve Barrow who caught carp on the pole for a total weight of 125lbs.
Completing the frame was Andy Bulled not far behind Barrow with 124lbs.
The section winners were Eddie Evans, who topped A with 82lbs, and Dave Sellick, whose 99lbs saw him clinch B.
