An array of designer wedding dresses, with up to 70pcoff, as well as outfits for the mother of the bride and bridesmaids are justpart of the attraction at Exeter Racecourse's Wedding Fayre, on Sunday,February 17.
The event, which is free to attend, promises to be aone-stop shop for anyone planning a wedding, with advice available fromprofessionals involved in making a wedding day a memorable occasion.
Speciallytrained staff from a variety of bridal and occasion wear boutiques across thesouth-west will also be on hand to give help and advice on the dresses.
They willbe available on a first come first served basis, and with typical reduction of£600 on a dress costing £900, and £2000 dresses on sale for around £600, itwill be a case of early birds getting the best deals.
HelenJohnson, director of Dream Weddings magazine which is organising the dresssale, said: 'It's a fantastic opportunity for brides to get the dress of theirdreams at a price they could only dream of. We have plenty of room, plenty ofparking and entry is free."
Exeter'sconference and events manager Michelle Thomas commented: "It's the second timewe've held a wedding fayre, following the over-whelming success of last year'sevent, and we're really looking forward to welcoming people to Exeter. As wellas the tradestands and wonderful dresses, we'll be able to showcase our ownfacilities at the racecourse which is fast gaining a reputation as a weddingvenue with a difference."
The wedding fayre takes place between10am and 4pm.
