Devon Army cadets have arrived home after providing personnel for the First World War commemorative service at Mons, Belgium, attended by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

Colonel Ashley Fulford, Commandant of Devon ACF, said: “It was a great honour for our cadets and their instructors to represent the Army at this unique and prestigious commemorative service. They carried out their responsibilities in a very professional manner and are a credit to the Army Cadet Force.”

The cadets are now enjoying a break and will resume cadet activities at their detachments in September.
