After the huge success of the event last year, Exeter City's Football in the Community Trust are once again hosting a Santa Dash through the streets of the city centre to raise money for worthwhile causes this festive time.

The event, which is sponsored by Stagecoach, will be held on Saturday, December 29, and will start outside the Guildhall at 1.15pm.

Supporters dressed as Father Christmas will then run the one mile to St James' Park, where the Grecians will host Barnet in npower League Two that afternoon.

For just £17, or £5 for children, supporters get a Santa outfit and a ticket for the match against a Bees side which could include legendary former Dutch international Edgar Davids.

Supporters can also pay £35, or £15 for children, which entitles them to a Santa suit, a seat in the FlyBe stand, a meal in the hospitality lounge and access to the man-of-the-match award in the FlyBe suite after full time.

Fifty per cent of the fee will go towards either one of the club's chosen charities, or a charity of your choice. The other 50 per cent goes to the Exeter City FITC Charitable Trust.

This season, the Grecians are raising money for Help for Heroes, Devon Air Ambulance, Prostate Cancer (the Football League's charity), Adam Stansfield Foundation, CLIC Sargant and Hospiscare.
