A 31 year old Exeter bookkeeper appeared in court last Tuesday charged with fraud.

Clare Hogan, of Chantry Meadows, Exeter, is accused of fraud by abuse of position and acting against the financial interests of her employers.

She is alleged to have made a gain of £38,895.30p for herself while working as bookkeeper for Radiate Plumbing and Heating Services Ltd.

Hogan did not enter a plea when she appeared before Exeter magistrates. She was bailed to appear before a judge at Exeter Crown Court next month.
