TWELVE pupils from St Peters School helped Great Britain win medals at the European under-17 ultimate frisbee championships.
Ollie Slee, Harvey Ridgeway, Ollie Snow, James Mattin and Billy Curran were part of the boys' team that won gold in Cologne, Germany, earlier this month.
And schoolmates Phoebe Slee, Megan Loake, Adele Shire, Millie Marsden, Imogen Lovell, Karis Atkins and Sennen Roberts helped the girls take home bronze.
They beat France 10-9 in the play-off game to win their medals.
The boys saw off the challenge of the hosts – the top seeds and favourites for the championship – 13-8 in the final.
The GB boys were unbeaten throughout the week, winning nine games in total.
The Exeter schoolboys are also part of the St Peters School frisbee team, the Air Badgers, who walked away with all the national trophies this year, winning both the under-17 and under-20 indoor championships as well as the outdoor under-20s cup.
