NEWTON St Cyres Art Group summer exhibition is being held at Bernaville Nurseries, Cowley, near Exeter, from Monday, August 19, to Monday, August 26.
The sale of original paintings and prints will be on view daily from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday from 10.30am to 4pm.
A SUMMER school aimed at adults, but with some workshops available for young people aged 10 to 16 years old, has started in Sidmouth.
East Devon Art in Old Fore Street is running the school every day until Friday, August 23.

PORTRAIT of an African, an iconic painting from the city's collection at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, is on display on billboards and posters across the nation until Sunday, August 25, as part of the world's largest art exhibition, Art Everywhere.
Portrait of an African was chosen from a national long-list of 100 works by British artists in public collections across the UK.
The original paintings is currently on display at RAMM in Gallery 5 as part of its revolving exhibition of the city's fine art.
MEßSUCHER – an exhibition of photographs by Andrew Butler is being held at The Cafe, Topsham, until late September.
All images have been taken with a modern Leica, the M9, using Leica lenses.
Andrew said: "These images, for me at least, are what photography used to be about, and are also an expression of the original Leica ideal; the landscapes are both rural and urban, and record travels including Topsham, Dartmoor, London, Paris, Switzerland, Lisbon and Palermo."
