EXMOUTH artist Viv Lydon is exhibiting her art and photography in at The Boston Tea Party Cafe in Exeter.
Viv trained as an architectural stained glass artist and has a degree in ceramics. Her work includes vibrant seascapes, abstract glowing paintings, and large eye-catching photographs, most of which are available as originals or prints. The exhibition is on display in the upstairs of the cafe until Saturday, October 26.
ANIMAL antics have also been taking place at Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum. It's 105-year-old stuffed rhino has travelled to the Warwickshire countryside to take part in an exhibition at Compton Verney art gallery called Curious Beasts: Animal Prints from the British Museum.
RENOWNED artist Janice Brock is visiting The Deer Park in Honiton for its Lunch with the Artist event. The Manchester-born artistwill be visiting the Georgian country house hotel on Thursday, October 17. Places cost £25, including a two-course lunch and talk. Call 01404 41266.
The Devon Guild of Craftsmen and Villages in Action have come together to Create Outline South West.
It begins at South Zeal Victory Hall on Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20, from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
