GHQ Training has been unveiled as the latest supporting sponsor of the Devon Business Expo 2014.
Taking place at the Matford Centre in Marsh Barton on Thursday, June 5, the event is open to all types of business from across the county, including restaurants, retailers, professional services, charities, digital marketing, social media and training.
With branches in Exeter and Plymouth, GHQ delivers high quality training and development programmes across a wide range of business sectors.
Their range of courses includes Business Administration, Management, Team Leading, Customer Service, Child Care, Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, and Basic Food Hygiene. They also offer training in Teaching and Learning support, Computerised Accounts and Armed Forces Resettlement.
GHQ Training will be using the Devon Business Expo to promote their range of work-based training for businesses, and in particular highlight the benefits of the apprenticeship programme to employers who have not yet engaged with it. The company wants to inform a wider range of employers about how to get involved and dispel some of the myths around apprenticeships, as well as the financial support available from government.
The company’s guest seminar speaker will be Helen France, head of business development at the National Apprenticeship Service.
Commercial manager Helen Hart said: “GHQ Training is excited about supporting thebestofExeter in this prestigious business event. We are looking forward to meeting lots of different business people, helping them to increase sales and promote their products and services to other businesses.
“In addition, we will be showcasing our range of personal development short courses for management and business, and Devon Business Expo is a perfect arena for this.”
Headline sponsor of the event is Basepoint Business Centres and the Express & Echo is official media partner.
