Barrie Jennings, 50, from Honiton, Devon raised over £2,200 for Parkinson’s UK, when he ran the London Marathon on Sunday 13 April.

Barrie completed the 26.2 mile challenge in 3 hours and 56 minutes, on the last day of Parkinson’s Awareness Week (7-13 April). Barrie joined a 225 strong team of athletes who were running for Parkinson’s UK.

Parkinson’s UK hopes to raise over £315,000 from the event so it can continue with its vital research work to find a cure, and improve the lives of the 127,000 people in the UK who are living with Parkinson’s.
