Man accused of threat to kill with imitation firearm in Exmouth

A 25-year-old man has been charged with the possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and making threats to kill in Exmouth.

Lewis Finch, formerly of Exmouth but now of no fixed abode, has been bailed and is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates Court on March 25.

A 21-year-old, from Exmouth, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of life, has been released without charge.

Exmouth detectives said the arrests were linked to the alleged firing of a pellet-type gun on September 21.
