POLICE in Exeter are hunting thugs who launched a racist attack in a city centre fast food restaurant.
Officers say the racially aggravated assault took place on an Asian male at McDonalds in High Street, Exeter on Saturday, September 14, between 11.05pm and 11.10pm.
The two men shown in these CCTV images allegedly racially abused the victim before punching him in the face in what police describe as a totally unprovoked attack.
A police spokesman said: "The identity of the males pictured is sought in connection with this offence.
"They are the two males in white T-shirts."
If anyone witnessed the incident or knows the identity of the people pictured, they should come forward to police.
