KIRSTEN Parrick, from Exeter, has swapped in-house employment to join Exmouth-based Straight Marketing as an account director.
The agency, established in 2010 by chartered marketer Alison Jobson, has already secured new client contracts since the arrival of Kirsten.
Prior to joining Straight Marketing, the 34-year-old spent two years building and expanding two renewable energy businesses. Before that she was sales and marketing manager for a health spa in New Zealand.
Alison said: "The addition of Kirsten will allow us to extend our service to many more clients."
On account of their backgrounds and previous experience, the duo plan to focus on delivering services to five industry sectors: health and beauty, not for profit, professional services, renewable energy and retail.
Kirsten added: "Exeter has a thriving business community with many successful SMEs all trying to find new and innovative ways to stay ahead in the marketplace.
"It is extremely exciting to join a forward-thinking agency, which offers a direct marketing approach to help clients achieve this.
"Joining Straight Marketing means I can share my knowledge and experience in the health and beauty and renewable energy sectors, helping businesses develop and exceed their goals."
