THE record number of nativity sets to be displayed at an annual Christmas festival on Exmoor could be broken this year.
The highest tally of scenes exhibited at Dulverton by Starlight currently stands at more than 150.
Jan Ross, an organiser of the exhibition, said: "We had over 150 different nativity sets on display last year and nearly 1,400 visitors came along to enjoy the exhibition.
"Everyone enjoys the exhibition and we are pleased that, during the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations, looking for presents in Dulverton shops, families are reminded of the meaning of Christmas."
The town hall will be brought to life by the scenes, all of which are donated by local people and many are handed down through generations or have come from distant lands.
The display will take place from 10am until 5pm on Sunday, December 2.
Anybody willing to loan a nativity set, snow scene or angels to the exhibition should contact Jan on 01398 323818 or Barbara Carr on 01398 323525.
