NEWTOWN have made an impressive start to the Devon & Exeter League Premier Division season, winning their first two games.
Under new manager John Moore, who was in charge of Alphington's South West Peninsula League side last term, they opened their account with a 3-0 victory at Heavitree United, and followed that up by beating last season's runners-up, Hatherleigh Town, 4-2.
