An overturned lorry caused chaos on a Devon road after it spilled around 130 litres of diesel. The wagon flipped-over on the A386 Follygate, near Okehampton, yesterday at just before 1pm. The driver escaped serious injury. Firefighters from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were sent along to clear-up the diesel and a small quantity of hydraulic fluids which had also spilled onto the road. Fire chiefs said the diesel was contained within a ditch on the roadside verge. Crews remained at the scene to make the lorry safe.
