Police appeal for witnesses after attempted burglary in Rewe

Police are appealing for witnesses of an attempted burglary in a village on the outskirts of Exeter.
Officers at Honiton CID are investigating the incident that occurred at a house on the A396 at Rewe at 1:30pm on Monday, December, 31.
The suspect was disturbed by the occupant of the house who was in the bathroom upstairs, after smashing a window at the rear of the property to gain entry. Nothing was stolen.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious people or vehicles in the Rewe area to contact them by phoning 101, quoting crime reference number, KO/12/742.
