THE Big Draw, a national initiative aimed at encouraging people of all ages to draw, is being held during October across the country, including Devon. Among those taking part is East Devon Art Academy in Old Fore Street, Sidmouth, who will be hosting The Big Draw free workshops on Saturday, October 19, between 11am and 3pm.
The workshops will include figure drawing, drawing animals and en-situ sketching on the seafront, they are open to all ages and abilities, and drawing materials will be provided. Also taking part in The Big Draw are Dartmoor Arts Project who will be holding a feast drawing workshop for 14 to 18 year olds on Saturday, October 26, from 9.30am to 4.30pm, at Veet Mill Farm, Crockernwell, near Exeter.
