Fave raves from the 1980s, Wham, Whitney and Michael, will bring the house down when a grand reunion comes to Exeter's top night spot, Timepiece.

The city centrer nightclub, still going as strong as ever, will be the place where those memories will be revived and enjoyed next month with a special reunion to celebrate 30-plus years of friendship and fun.

The invite is open to everyone who attended the famous Timepiece Friday Rock nights in the 80’s and 90’s and their family and friends as well as current and former members of the Devon and Somerset Motorcycle Action Groups (MAG).

Liane Duxbury, who is organising the big event said it was expected to be a wonderul night for all-comers.

She said “We are flying the former Timepiece rock night DJ Andre Thorpe over from Jersey to play all our favourite tunes.

“It will be a mega get-together to celebrate all the good times we shared at Timepiece rock nights, MAG parties and the epic bike show days!

The party will be held at Timepiece, Exeter on Sunday May 4 from 7pm until late. We will be holding a rock, blues and alternative bar downstairs - where we can sit, chill and catch up - and a kicking, state of the art nightclub upstairs with DJ Andre Thorpe

“There is a great outside patio area where we can catch a bit of the evening sunshine and sit and chat.

“It would be great to get together, catch up with old buddies, and create new memories - as well as remembering those that we have loved and lost.

“It is a free event, with the owner having very kindly donated the venue for the evening, but donations will be gratefully received and will be shared between Force Cancer Care (Exeter) and Devon Air Ambulance which provide a much needed service to the local community.

This is an open party for everyone who attended the Friday night rock club at Timepiece, MAG events, and South West Bike shows and their friends and family.

It would be really fantastic to get all the old crew together again! -

“We are really looking forward to catching up again – so Lets Party!
