Willand Rovers defender Simon Hill is suspended for Saturday's trip to Cadbury Heath

Scott Rogers says he will look to bring in some reserve team players to cover for the absence of suspended duo Simon Hill and Dan Western when Willand Rovers visit Cadbury Heath on Saturday.

Rovers have not played since their Boxing Day Boxing Day victory over Buckland Athletic, meaning suspensions have been rolling over due to the lack of games being played.

Other than the suspended pairing, Rogers has a full squad to choose from, although he could well take the opportunity to look at some of those impressing in the second string.

“I could have a look at the reserves but if they have a game then I do not want to weaken them too much – I have to find a happy medium,” explained Rogers.

“It is a blow for us because Dan has been playing well and I know he was desperate to play. He was gutted when I told him he was suspended.”
