FORMER Blundell's School pupil Dave Lewis is looking forward to a new challenge after signing a two-year deal with Exeter Chiefs.
The 23-year-old joined Gloucester in 2007 but will return to Devon in the summer.
He said: "I've really enjoyed all my time at Gloucester. Not only have I got to make a lot of good friends, but I've got to play with some fantastic players and in some very big games over the years.
"It's never easy to say goodbye at any time, but I do feel the time is right for me to try a new challenge and going to the Chiefs will hopefully bring the best out of me."
Former Crediton hooker Jack Yeandle has signed a new one-year deal with the Chiefs, having joined the club last summer from Championship outfit Doncaster.
Sam Hill and his England under-20s teammates will be looking to bounce back when they host France at Worcester on Saturday (3pm).
The former Crediton centre was part of the side that lost 16-15 in Ireland, having started their Six Nations campaign with a 15-6 success against Scotland at Plymouth. However, England still top the table as France, who beat Italy in the first match, saw their game with Wales postponed.
Former Crediton prop Mica Evans has been named on the bench for England women's under-20s' game against France on Saturday (2pm).
Evans played in England's three Tests against France last season, losing all of them.
