Topsham Rugby Club are on the lookout for a new coach after muddling through last season with assistants and helpers but no one in overall charge.

Director of rugby Colin Milkins found himself doing the job he had given up the year before as there was no one else available.

The Devon One club did have some assistance from former Chiefs player and Sidmouth player-coach Jason Luff, but he has left for Teignmouth.

“If there is a level one coach out there keen to make level two, we will put them through the course,” said Milkins.

Topsham are fitness training through the summer on Tuesday nights (7pm).

Ben Rudkin was named player of the season and players’ player at the club’s annual awards night and dinner. Ben Boggis was named the most-improved player.
