The Transport Minister Norman Baker praised the partnership working of the team behind the Junction 29 improvement scheme on the edge of Exeter at the official opening today.
The minister said: “Team work is essential to the success of a transport project on this scale and can only be achieved by working together.”
Mr Baker also commented on the timely nature of the project. He said: “Job creation is obviously very high up on the coalition government's agenda so the completion of these works comes at an appropriate time. This brings a boost to the region's economy and is a good example to see what can be achieved. It's been an ambitious and efficient programme which I'm pleased to see has been delivered on time.”
