Journalist Simon Calder will join speakers from VisitEngland at the 2014 Westcountry Tourism Conference, taking place at Westpoint Arena near Exeter next week.

The themes of this year’s event, held over two mornings on February 5 and 6 as part of the Source Trade Show, are ‘Making Your Business Pay’ and ‘Marketing and Digital’.

Organiser Robin Barker, director of Devon-based Services for Tourism, said: “The last two years have amply demonstrated the demand from tourism businesses to catch up with the latest opportunities as well as thinking and trends in travel and hospitality. This year builds on this experience, offering a mix of high-profile national experts with local speakers who have stories to tell.”

Places cost £20+VAT per day for members of partner organisations and £30 for non-members. Refreshments and a sandwich lunch are included.
