Exeter City academy player Oliver Watkins' long-range effort has been shortlisted for League Football Education's (LFE), January Goal of the Month prize. The competition features the best goals from Under 18 Academy players at Football League clubs up and down the land.
Middlesbrough's Dylan McGlade took the honours last month - with his left-footed finish during Boro's 3-1 win over Liverpool in December proving to be the most popular goal with the voting public. The contenders for this month are:

GOAL H: Jamie Hanson, DERBY COUNTY v Huddersfield Town, 28/01/13
LFE Chief Executive, Alan Sykes said: "This competition is popular with our apprentices, clubs and the general public. It highlights the good work taking place right across the Football League to develop talented young players."
