BIG celebrations at Lyme Bay Winery with the news that it has collected another fantastic trophy for the cabinet.

Its awards this year have been topped by Jack Ratt Vintage Dry Cider being named one of the top 50 food products in the UK.

As part of the Great Taste Awards, nearly 9,000 food and drink products were blind-tasted and whittled down to form the top 50.

The cider also won the very prestigious Triple-Gold Star award, and is now also nominated for a Golden Fork Award, the highest accolade in fine food and drink, which will be announced at an awards dinner in London next month.

Lyme Bay Winery is based near Axminster, and is passionate about producing delicious wines, liqueurs and ciders that are inspired by traditional recipes, but using the most up to date production techniques.
