WINKWORTH estate agents' expansion has continued with its acquisition of Redferns Estate Agents in Woodbury.
The move follows the merging of the company with Solo Property Group in the summer, which saw the company become the city's largest sales and letting agent.
Winkworth director Christopher Baker said: "We are very excited by the growth of the company into East Devon, specifically Woodbury.
"We have always had great demand for property in the area and it naturally complements what we have been doing in Exeter.
"Having proved ourselves in the industry over the last five years with continued growth, we are excited to provide a genuinely alternative approach to some of the traditional "agents of choice" and give our clients another option."
During the coming weeks the company plans to transform the Redferns office in Woodbury.
Winkworth have also recently completed the move of their Exeter city centre office into 25 Southernhay East.
And the business' expansion plans may not end there, as both Christopher and fellow director Simon Scott-Nelson admitted they are looking to incorporate other residential lettings businesses into the company that would benefit from becoming part of a larger, independently and locally-owned organisation.
Christopher said: "We are very excited that, despite the phenomenal growth over the last five years, Winkworth say that there is room for further growth, with almost 300 properties under management and fast becoming the agent of choice for lettings, both residential and for students.
"The year-on-year double digit growth of the business in a recession, as the brand continues to gain recognition, can only be further improved on as the market gathers pace."
Simon said: "The team is very proud of the new offices.
"In Exeter, Winkworth is now positioned on the main corner, next to the Barnfield Theatre and in Woodbury, we are now in the heart of the village and we literally can't wait to meet the local residents and be a part of their community."
