Visual content is vastly overlooked in content marketing, as many brands focus on blog posts and articles.

However, visual content can provide much more for your business than other traditional forms of marketing.

Many companies struggle when it comes to video marketing, as they are unsure how exactly video can make a difference, and how to promote themselves via visual methods.

As a medium, visual content allows the user very little leeway in terms of concentration. With chunks of text, readers can easily skim through the content and only take in certain sections. However, with video that simply isn’t the case.

1. Testimonials: Putting your testimonials in a video format can really strengthen brand awareness.

Loyal customers will be willing to help you out in any way they can, so feel free to ask. If your video testimonial comes across as authentic and honest, this will properly convey the message to potential customers that you are a genuine and thoughtful company.

2. Product examples: Product examples are an excellent way of showcasing the functionality of your product; however, this type of video content may be dependent on industry.

For some industries, such as builders, clothing and retail goods, showcases are effective for showing how your product works, looks and feels. For the construction industry in general, videos of finished work are a great way to show potential clients what you can do.

You can also tie product examples in with instructional videos. Informative content rather than promotional content is an exceptional way to drive relevant traffic to your website.

3. Behind the scenes: Giving your brand a personality is something social media marketers strive for every day.

However, throw in some behind the scenes video content and you have achieved effortlessly what many work to achieve.

Show your company as light hearted and an enjoyable place to work. This will show consumers that you can enjoy business, as well as providing a top service. Consumers like to see happy workforces, so showcase yours.

So there you have it. Now get out there and start making some content!
