The Olympianist: Anthony Hewitt - Politmore and Exeter City: Internationally renowned pianist and avid cyclist Anthony Hewitt is the Olympianist. He will be cycling the length of Britain, from Land's End to John O'Groats, with his piano trailing in a van, in aid of charity. At the end of each gruelling leg of the ride he will give a recital either outdoors on the van or in a venue where he is invited to perform. Here in Exeter Anthony is planning to give a free recital on Cathedral Green upon arrival, and then will perform in the intimate surroundings of the Chapter House in the evening. Earlier in the afternoon he will also be giving a free concert at Poltimore House (details to be confirmed) located just a few miles northeast of the city centre. Please register on the Poltimore House website (www.poltimore.org.uk) to express your interest in attending, and details will be sent to you when they become available. Tickets are available now for the Cathedral concert priced at £12 (£5 students), to include a glass of wine and light refreshments, and are available from the Cathedral Shop 01392 271354.

Exeter Northcott: The Hound of the Baskervilles - Oldham Coliseum Theatre and imitating the dog present The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and adapted for the stage by Clive Francis. 7.30pm-10pm. From £12.50 to £20.50 per ticket.

RAMM: Exeter's Fine Art Collection: This new display of RAMM’s own art collection includes some of the museum’s most famous paintings alongside important new acquisitions never before seen in Exeter. From 18th-century portraits, Devon and Exeter landscapes to modern abstract works, there is a rich variety on view. Free.

RAMM: International Garden Photographer of the Year, the world’s premier competition and exhibition specialising in garden, plant, flower and botanical photography.10am-5pm, free entry. Exhibition showing until June 10th.

Crediton Crunch: A multi-terrain 10k run in aid of Children's Hospice South West. 10.30am. After a year break the Crediton Crunch returns with a new route for 2012 starting at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre taking in the stunning grounds of Downes House, once home to Crediton hero, Sir Redvers Buller. Entires on the day £14, spectating is free!
