The Tour of Britain's trip through Devon last month certainly showcased the fabulous scenery the county has to offer, from the Regency seafront at Sidmouth to the nail-biting finish on Dartmoor.
Never ones to miss an advertising opportunity, Panos Taliadoras and Chris Haigh of Bradleys Estate Agents in Honiton took to the streets to support their namesake Bradley Wiggins as the cyclists came through their town.
Their comical but clever advertising stunt was praised and photographed by locals. The idea came from Panos' enthusiasm for cycling.
The Wiggins fan explains how his "tongue in cheek" humour paired well with an advertising idea: "I've been following Wiggins for a while now, and I've even named my car Bradley.
"I saw an opportunity to make a connection and thought it had potential to be a great promotional idea."
When asked about Bradley's acknowledgement of the signs, Panos claims: "Of course he caught a glimpse of them".
There is no doubt that such an event like the Tour of Britain has an impact on the housing market locally, Panos explains: "It is great promotion, as television coverage shows aerial views of the wonderful countryside, giving potential house hunters an insight into the beautiful scenery that this county offers."
